Margaret's ring

Margaret told me she had been waiting too long to make this ring, so I had better make it big and bold! She had a plastic bag full of scrap gold and three diamonds - one from her Mother, husband, and daughter. The diamonds looked very different from each other and I was please to find that once I got them out of the old jewelry, they were all the exact same size. I set them in a strip setting of white gold which gives them the illusion of being larger and just seemed to bump up the sparkle factor. She is pleased that this ring does not go unnoticed on her finger!
