Meagan's ring

Jewelry is often used to celebrate and mark a special occasion. In this case it is a 'big' October birthday. What better way to celebrate than with a pink tourmaline and some diamonds? Meagan liked the criss cross ring that I had made in the past, but was looking for a design more symmetrical. I carved this ring with the same over/under theme to curve around the light pink tourmaline that Meagan liked. Tourmalines come in so many different shades of pink, that was the first decision that she had to make. Now it's how to celebrate her big day wearing her big ring!
